Rinjani 3D2N Trekking Program: Start from Sembalun, Finish at Senaru Village (Second Night at Senaru Crater Rim)
Day of Arrival
- Pick-up at Airport or Harbour at Lombok: Our team will meet you at the place and time ttaht you confirmation to pick you up.
- Drive to Sembalun Village: You will then travel for about 2.5 or 3 hours to Sembalun Village in the foothills of Mount Rinjani.
- Check-in and Rest at Sembalun: Check into your accommodation at Sembalun Village, where you can rest and recover from your journey.
- Short Trek Briefing: Meet our team at the Sembalun Coffee Center for a short briefing about the trekking route and preparations. This is the perfect time to ask questions and go over important details about the trek.
- Medical Check-up: A quick medical check-up to ensure you're fit for the trek.
- Relax & Prepare for the Trek: The rest of the day is free for you to relax, enjoy the view of Mount Rinjani, and prepare your gear for the trek.
- Overnight at Sembalun Village: Spend the night in Sembalun to rest and acclimatize before the trekking begins the next day.
Day 1: Sembalun to Pelawangan Sembalun (Crater Rim) and Summit
Early Morning:
- Breakfast at Accommodation: After breakfast, our team will pick you up from your accommodation.
- Cek In At Information Center Mount Rinjani National Park
- Drive to Trekking Starting Point: We will drive you to the starting point of the trek.
Trekking Starts:
- Sembalun to Post 1 (1.5 hours, 1,300m ASL) - Post 1 (Pemantauan): The trek begins through the beautiful savannah and tropical forest, offering stunning views of the landscape. We’ll take a short break at Post 1.
- Post 1 to Post 2 (1 hour, 1,500m ASL) - Post 2 (Tengengean): Continue to Post 2, where we’ll have another short break to enjoy the views.
- Lunch Break at Post 2: Enjoy a 1-hour lunch at Post 2 to recharge for the second part of the trek.
- Post 2 to Post 3 (1.5 hours, 1,800m ASL) - Post 3 (Padabalong): The next stop is Post 3, where we will stop for a brief rest.
- Post 3 to Pelawangan Sembalun (3.5 hours, 2,639m ASL): The final section to Pelawangan Sembalun will be a bit more challenging, with steep terrain, but the stunning views of Segara Anak Lake and Sembalun village below make it worthwhile. We will reach the crater rim (Pelawangan Sembalun) and enjoy a sunset view over the lake and surrounding areas.
Camp Setup and Dinner: Upon arrival at Pelawangan Sembalun, our team will set up the tents. Enjoy a hot dinner, relax, and take in the magnificent views of the area. This is also a great time for photography, especially with the sunset.
Day 2: Summit Push and Descent to Senaru Crater Rim
- 02:00 AM Wake-up: Wake up early to start your summit push.
- Light Breakfast: A light breakfast will be served to prepare for the summit.
- Summit Trek:
- Sembalun Crater Rim to Summit (3 hours, 3,726m ASL): Trek to the summit and enjoy the spectacular sunrise and panoramic views.
- Enjoy Sunrise and Photography: Capture beautiful photos and enjoy the serene atmosphere at the summit.
- Descent to Sembalun Crater Rim:
- Summit to Crater Rim (2 hours): After the sunrise, begin your descent back to the Sembalun Crater Rim.
- Breakfast at Crater Rim: Upon arrival at the Crater Rim, enjoy a breakfast prepared by the porters.
- Continue to Senaru Crater Rim:
- Descent from Sembalun Crater Rim to Senaru Crater Rim: Continue your journey down the mountain towards the Senaru Crater Rim (Approx. 4-5 hours).
- Lunch on the Way: Stop for a break and lunch on the way at one of the posts along the route.
- Arrive at Senaru Crater Rim: Upon arrival at the Senaru Crater Rim, enjoy the breathtaking views of the lake and the surrounding mountains.
- Camp Setup at Senaru Crater Rim: Rest and relax at the Senaru Crater Rim campsite, where tents will be set up.
- Dinner and Overnight at Senaru Crater Rim: Enjoy a hot dinner while taking in the stunning views of the crater and surrounding landscape. Overnight at Senaru Crater Rim.
Day 3: Descent to Senaru Village
- Breakfast at Senaru Crater Rim: Enjoy breakfast while soaking in the views of Segara Anak Lake and the surrounding area.
- Descent to Senaru Village (5-6 hours): The final leg of your trek will take you through lush forests, waterfalls, and scenic landscapes.
- Arrive in Senaru Village: Upon arrival, we will provide transportation to take you to your next destination (Senggigi, Mataram, or Gili Islands).
- End of Service: This marks the end of your Rinjani trekking experience.
